Wedding videographer Donegal

Cinematic, story-led wedding films from a Derry-based filmmaker, minutes from the Donegal border. Full-day films from £1,800.

Where I film

Donegal on the doorstep

Derry sits right on the border, so Inishowen and Letterkenny are as local as anywhere in the North. Whether you are marrying on the shores of Lough Foyle or Lough Swilly, or out on the wild Atlantic coast, the approach is the same: calm on the day, thoughtful in the edit.

An Grianán Hotel, Burt

Just over the border near the Grianán of Aileach, one of the closest Donegal venues to Derry.

Inishowen Gateway Hotel, Buncrana

On the shores of Lough Swilly in Buncrana, with the beach and the hills close by for portraits.

Donegal wedding film questions

How much does a wedding videographer in Donegal cost?

Full-day films from 53 Wedding Films start at £1,800, priced in sterling. That covers preparations through to the first dance, a short teaser, a main film and properly recorded audio of your vows and speeches. A 20% booking fee secures your date.

Do you cover all of Donegal?

Yes, with no extra charge for travel. Inishowen and Letterkenny are on the doorstep, and weddings further along the coast are covered too. Tell me your venue when you enquire and I will confirm the details for your date.

Is booking from across the border any different?

No. You get the same full-day coverage, the same films and the same audio wherever the wedding is, and travel is included. The only difference is that pricing is in sterling.

Do you work alongside our photographer?

Always. 53 Wedding Films is film only and works with whichever photographer you choose, planning shots together so neither gets in the other's way.

How long until we get our film?

Usually around five to six weeks. Jamie edits every film himself rather than outsourcing it, and the timeline for your film is agreed when you book.
